WEBSITE DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT
Hotel Lafayette is set to become an ambassador for Acadiana and Cajun culture, serving as a home base for travelers who come from all over the world to experience the region’s music, food, language, and hospitality. The hotel blends timeless charm with modern refinement, offering guests an authentic gateway to the spirit of Louisiana.

BREAKING DOWN THE BRAND
THE VISION
To craft a brand that feels classic and rooted in the heritage of Louisiana. The hotel identity needed to celebrate the old soul of Acadiana—rich in culture, flavor, and history—while also presenting itself as polished, stylish, and welcoming to modern travelers. Our role was to capture that balance, designing a brand that could carry the romance of the past into a contemporary guest experience.
LOGO & TYPOGRAPHY
The primary wordmark blends custom curves and angles in “Lafayette” that echo classic Southern signage and historic architecture. Paired with the flowing script of “Hotel,” inspired by Louisiana's French influence, the design evokes both heritage and romance. Supporting elements include a monogram “L” with a vertical street address, a destination inspired “La” icon, and stylized address text graphics that extend the brand’s versatility.
COLOR PALETTE
Rooted in the textures and flavors of Southern Louisiana—and inspired by the works of George Rodrigue—the palette is both organic and iconic. Bayou Blue grounds the identity, while Cane Sugar and Linen provide soft, hospitable neutrals. Vermilion River highlights the geographic setting, complemented by Cornbread, Gator Hide, and Tumeric—earthy hues that reflect local cuisine, wildlife, and cultural warmth.
WEBSITE
As the hotel prepares to open its doors, we created a teaser splash page that feels like a warm invitation, capturing the spirit of the South in a concise, impactful way. Evocative copywriting pairs with an elegant layout to introduce Hotel Lafayette as both a destination and a cultural steward, giving visitors a first taste of the hospitality to come.
